Newsflash – Friday 18th January 2019

In this week's edition of the Droylsden Academy Newsflash it is with profound sadness that we report on the tragic death of Taylor Schofield, a Year 7 student from the Academy. Most of you will be aware, from the local news and media and from talking to your own children, of the accident that happened last weekend in Beswick and of the terrible consequences. Our hearts and thoughts are with Taylor’s family and friends at this terrible time.

    • Booster injections for Year 9 students will be given in the week beginning Monday 4th February 2019
    • The Character Awards Evening for students in Years 7 and 8 will take place on Thursday 7th February 2019
    • The Academy will break up for the half term holiday on Friday 15th February 2019
